'Keep Space for Peace' with Kate Kheel of Safe Tech International

Each year in October, the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space holds Keep Space for Peace Week to raise awareness about the militarization and exploitation of space. 

In marking this year's events, Safe Tech International partnered with Irene of eyemind concepts for the design and production of a 6-page brochure about tech, AI, the military and war. The brochure is currently only available as a PDF, but in a few days we'll be sending out a printable 3-panel, two-sided brochure. 

Why the need for a brochure on the connection between Tech/AI and the Military? 

The brochure functions as a primer for EMF activists/campaigners (or others) about how technology and AI have changed the nature of war. It covers the three new domains of war that are directly dependent on Electromagnetic Superiority which itself is relies on a vast network of digital technology, particularly, wireless infrastructure – cell towers, satellites, cellphones, smart cities, the IoT, surveillance cameras, etc. Understanding the deep connection between tech/AI and the military can inform our outreach and our approach to reining in the current non consensual tech Tsunami. Furthermore, this awareness may inspire us to integrate peace into both our campaigning and our personal life's journey toward peace.  

We are a clever species but have lost our way forsaking Life in pursuit of monetary gain, perpetual growth, dominance, and war. 
Until we pivot to a more values-based civilization, tech and AI are bound to only increase – not lessen – violence, war, and the Metacrisis.

  Our latest monthly space video updates on the current situation as the US-NATO work globally to use space tech to suppress opposition to western control.

The video shows how costly space tech is now a domination tool used by US-NATO in their wars in Palestine/Lebanon, Ukraine, and next, China.

We've long been indoctrinated to 'support the space program - to search for the origins of life'. But NASA was under the Pentagon's control from the start. Today the US strategy is to get the western allies to contribute to build a space warfare superstructure so powerful that it would ensure hegemony.

Russia and China have long gone to the United Nations introducing resolutions to the General Assembly calling for a new treaty to ban all weapons in space. Close the door to the barn before the horse gets out.

For more than 25 years the US and Israel have blocked the development of a new space weapons ban treaty at the UN. Those two imperial nations always knew that if they worked together, as well as pulling NATO into the space war gambit, then they could possibly take on Russia and China and remain as the rulers of Earth.

It's madness and the sickness of corporate fascism - Mussolini called it the 'wedding of corporations and government'.

All of our various struggles against imperial terrorism are connected in so many ways. We all are fighting for liberation from corporate colonial banksters and militarists who are destroying life on Mother Earth.
